Terms and conditions
If you are interested in renting one of our apartments please let us know ASAP since availability can change very quickly. We do not, normally, accept reservation for short periods (less than a week) during the busy summer months of July and August. For the rest of the year short stays are possible starting from 3 nights.
A 30% advance payment is required at time of booking. This is payable by bank transfer or through Paypal (highly recommended if you live outside Europe). Paypal is a secure payment service on line. To make the payment you just need our e-mail address and a credit card. No fees for you.
The reservation will be considered valid only upon receipt of the payment and will be confirmed by e-mail.
Cancellations must be received in writing (fax or e-mail). The advance payment is non-refundable in case of cancellation by the tenant. In the event that you need to arrive later than expected, there will be no reduction in price and the departure date will not change.
You will pay the balance due in Euros, in cash, on arrival. If you prefer, upon request you can pay the balance with Paypal or bank transfer at the latest 2 weeks before arrival.
We also ask a security deposit of 200 euros that we will give back to you when you check-out. If you are responsible for any damage or breakage, this will result in an extra charge, after verification, for the equivalent of the amount of liability.
5. Check-in & check-out
Usually check-in is at 16.00 hrs and check-out is at 12.00 hrs. If the apartment has prior occupants, they have until 12am to check-out, after which the apartment will be serviced.
If you have any special request about arrival or departure times, please advise in advance so that we can check if it’s possible to arrange a different timing.
Changes in your arrival time must be notified ASAP. An obvious, but sometimes overlooked difference between hotels and private apartments is that there is no desk clerk on duty, so arrival times or possible changes are vital information to us. Please also provide us with your mobile phone number, so that we can contact you on the day of arrival if necessary.
6. General condition
You will find the apartment in a clean state. You are responsible for the cleanliness of the apartment during your stay and before you check out. You’re asked to use our apartment with care and respect, to let all furniture at their initial place, clean all dishes you might have used and put them away at their initial place and to empty the apartment from any trash before your departure. Pets are not allowed. Smoking is not allowed inside the apartments.
