For a taste of the true atmosphere of Nice, enjoy strolling along the narrow streets of old town.
The famous flower market (cours Saleya) is just around the corner. Against the backdrop of the Castle Hill (splendid view of the city and the Port), this colorful show is one of the old town's major tourist attractions, a must on any tour.
There you will find a hundred stalls with flowers and green plants, but you can also sample local specialties such as socca, pissaladiere, courgette blossom fritters and buy plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables sold by the farmers.
To reach all famous sites of the French Riviera, the coach station is at a 5-minute walk, while the Central Railway Station is just 20 minutes away on foot, or a few minutes by tramway: Monaco (approx 20 min), Cannes (approx.40 min) and between the two: Antibes, Cagnes-sur-Mer, Saint-Paul, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Beaulieu, Eze, etc...
