FLAT N°3 - SAINT JOSEPH

This cosy, quiet, very sunny flat is located on the 4th floor of a typical Niçois building in the very heart of the Old Town. You will love the romantic view over the rooftops of Old Nice and the Castle Hill, the spacious, well-lit living room and modern, fully fitted kitchen.
The seafront promenade is only a 5-minute walk away, like the beach, the world-famous flower market, restaurants and antique shops. Art galleries, churches and museums are all within walking distance. A perfect location to savour the "Niçois" art of living.
A car is not necessary, but if you are travelling by car, you will be able to stop in front of the main entrance to drop off your luggage before leaving your vehicle in one of the many public car parks in the vicinity.

Neighbourhood

The surroundings of our apartment have plenty of charm and authenticity and you will enjoy walking to Place Rossetti with its beautiful Sainte-Réparate Cathedral, a fine example of Baroque art in Nice, and many café terraces and ice-cream shops.
Stop for an ice cream on Fenocchio’s terrace, where you can discover surprising flavours like rose, violet, basil, as well as a very impressive selection of more standard flavours.
Walking along Rue Droite on your way to the sea, have a look at the many small art galleries and be sure not to miss the vividly colours façades of the houses, while a gentle breeze carries wafts of delicious pastry and tasty snacks.
Take a stroll through the flower market on Cours Saleya where sweet, spicy, peppery, musky scents mingle, offering visual and aromatic treasures. Take the time to explore the market, snooping around: in each stall you'll find an abundance of regional specialities along with fresh fruits and vegetables.
Continue your walk down to the sea where the majestic curve of the Baie des Anges offers striking contrasts of light between the land and sea. In summer, after time spent on the warm pebble beach, you will be happy to return to the old city and its cool narrow streets. We recommend a visit to the Castle Hill, that you have already admired from your bedroom and living room, where you can enjoy a wonderful panorama on the entire city with its cape as well as its quiet shaded garden.
