FLAT N°1 - BONAPARTE

"This apartment was everything it promised in it's advertisement.
Impeccably clean with all mod-cons, and everything is in excellent condition. It is well located; near the port with a short walk to Vieux Nice (the old town), close to the tramway, and all manner of shops minutes away.
The owner was exceptionally friendly to deal with over email, and Magali, the apartment manager who I dealt with when I arrived, was absolutely lovely and provided very clear instructions on everything I needed to know (as well as giving me some very useful tips on my French). "

"We liked our stay in this apartment very much.
Cosy, clean, furnished with good taste (10 points!) and very calm. All you may need is just there! Best pizza in the Nice (thanks for a hint!), best boulangerie over the corner (Péché Migno), many delicious restaurant nearby, sea and Old Town of Nice 5 minutes walking.
Magali was very helpful! Lovely district to stay - very real. No need to have a car. "

" This apartment is very clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped.
The free phone calls to Europe is a great bonus, pity we did not have our laptop to avail of the free Wi-fi too. The location is central but in a quiet street and a few minutes from Place Garabaldi, the Port and walking distance to Cours Saleya and Promenade des Anglais with his beach.
Gare Routiere (bus stop) and Gare Riquier (train) are within walking distance too. It is suitable for a young family or a couple, our 3 year old enjoyed the apartment very much and was able to climb the 5 flights of stairs without too much trouble. We enjoyed our stay in Nice, and would definitely recommend this apartment."

"What you see is what you get! The apartment is perfect for a family and is equipped to receive a baby as well. Our daughter was very happy about all the toys she found there. The apartment is very clean and very quiet. Magali was very helpful by providing us with a map of the area and various addresses of shops and restaurants. The apartment is close to the port and the neighbourhood is lovely, it was wonderful to simply walk around."

"We spent an excellent week in Nice!
The apartment was very clean, comfortable and quite. It was well equipped. The location was excellent, close to shops, supermarkets, bakery, bus station and the beach. There were also plenty of good restaurants and cafes in the neighbourhood.
Very peaceful place in the middle of everything. Location was ideal 2min walk to the Port and 10 min walk to the centre along the Promenade des Anglais. It gives you a real feel for Nice. The owner and key holder were very helpful. We (2 adults, 2 teenagers) were lucky to find this apartment. We loved to stay there and we highly recommend this place. "

" The rental was exactly what we were looking for.
The apartment was spacious, well-kept, and included all the amenities that we needed. It is located near the port of Nice, with a great selection of bakeries, grocery stores, and restaurants in the general vicinity. The harbour is about a 5 min walk away and Old Nice is about a 7 min walk, both with even more restaurants and shops to choose from.
We enjoyed our stay in Nice tremendously, which was in large part due to the beautiful accommodations at the apartment “Bonaparte”. I would highly recommend it to both family and friends, and would stay there again if we return to Nice."

" Waking up in this beautiful apartment of the Rue Bonaparte… Queuing at the ‘boulangerie’ around the corner with other citizens from the neighbourhood…
Buying in a ‘poissonnerie’ and in all kind of other small shops… In short, staying in the apartment “Bonaparte” is being local with the locals. The apartment, located close to the city centre in an authentic, non-touristic area, is well equipped and spacious. And an excellent operating base for discovering Nice as well as for several short sporty and cultural trips.
We were pleased to find an extensive amount of touristic and practical information like bus and train schedules. "

It was so well fitted out and perfect for a family with a young child. We were also very lucky and had sensational weather. Unfortunately our stay was all too brief, so we are looking forward to returning; we hope some day soon. The extra touches were all greatly appreciated such as the highchair and cot, the toaster and kettle, the plastic dishes for our son and all the toys.

"My wife and I were very pleased with the apartment. It was very clean and spacious and the utilities were new and the bed very comfortable. The location close to the Port was perfect, with small local shops, bakeries close by on the same street. Marco insisted on carrying our case up the stairs and down again on our departure. Marco was very helpful: met us at the bus stop and briefed us on all the amenities in the area. We had a very enjoyable stay."

"Our stay was perfect in every way. The owners are extremely kind and helpful, and went to great lengths to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay. The flat is very well-equipped, clean, and comfortable. The location is ideal if you wish to be close to the port, and there is a great variety of food (markets and take-away) to be found in the immediate neighborhood. The flat is perfect for families with small children as well; the owners were kind enough to provide a baby cot and even toys for our children! The personal touch from the owners added to our stay."

"We absolutely LOVED this apartment and our stay in Nice. We could not have asked for kinder owners. We thought it was very centrally located; its proximity to Nice Riquier was extremely valuable in terms of getting to Cannes and MonteCarlo. It is within 10 min walking distance from the beautiful marina, beach, and flower market/restaurant row. The apartment was impeccably clean and well supplied with extra towels and sheets. It was also spacious and can comfortable fit 3-5 people. The owners were extremely thoughtful. Marco was kind enough to carry our heavy luggages up the flights of stairs and even drove us to the train station at the end of our stay (which saved us so much time and energy!)"

FLAT N°2 - ANCIEN SENAT

"This flat is perfect. Rue Ancien Sénat is the best location in all of Nice.
All of the best restaurants are 2 minutes from the flat. PLUS the food market is a 3 minute walk from the apartment. The area is totally safe and is filled with locals and tourists from 9 am to 3 am every day.
Plus the flat is 5 minutes from the beach and a 7 minute walk to the harbour. Each morning we had a coffee at one of the cute internet cafe's or cafe's in the square near the church.
Oh....did I mention that the tram is 4 minute walk from the flat. Really easy to get to. We took a taxi from the train station to the flat just to ensure we didn't get lost.....but it was close to the train station and was easy to find based on Marco's maps.
The flat itself is super cute and very calm. The living room is spacious and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit.
This is an amazing find!! You will not be disappointed "

" We enjoyed our stay so much at your apartment in Nice, because of the following reasons:
The perfect location (at the old city) and so close to the beach. No car needed.
Although the apartment is located in the city centre, it is quiet at night
All facilities are foreseen (internet Adsl wi-fi, television, telephone free of charge, hi-fi, , …).
These are the one of the plenty reasons why you shouldn’t go to a hotel. Very cosy which makes you directly feel at home, very friendly host and owner and customer satisfaction is considered as very important.
We were 4 colleagues at Nice and we found exactly what we were looking for: pleasure, lot of good restaurants (close to the apartment), atmosphere of the old city centre, shops, beach, museum, …"

"This apartment is very well located, right in Vieux Nice: the Promenade des Anglais and the beach are just at your door step.
Very convenient to the bus terminal for the many side trips you can make to all the places along the Cote d'Azur. Very well-appointed with just about anything you could think of. Everything was in working order & well maintained.
The apt gave you a taste of real French life. We were met at the agreed time incoming & outgoing. Magali was very helpful in letting us know where everything was situated. Our overall experience here was wonderful and we enjoyed our stay very much.

"The apartment was lovely and cosy with everything you might need to enjoy your stay.
We cooked most of the time instead of eating out. It was situated 2 minutes away from Castle Beach and right on the centre of Old Nice. Close to supermarkets, shops, fish market, restaurants, the tram and the bus station where buses leave to Cannes, Antibe, Monaco, Menton and many other villages close by.
The location is perfect. The owner was extremely nice and helpful. We spent hours and hours looking for an apartment in Nice before booking this one. This is really the best you can get for the price that is requested. Definitely a place to return. "

"We stayed in a beautiful apartment in the Vieux Nice. The location of the apartment was fantastic, we were within a 5 minute walk of both bus and tram transport. Promenade des Anglais, flower market, museums, and the castle hill were also within a couple of minutes walk. The apartment was very well equipped, clean, quiet, and nicely furnished. We got a warm and enthusiastic reception by the owners. They were extremely helpful and courteous. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this apartment. "

"We stayed 4 nights at Ancien Senat and loved the apartment.
It was very clean and comfortable and right in the heart of old Nice. Magali who welcomed us was fantastic - her recommendations for restaurants, wine caves and cheese places were spot on and the info she gave us on the area was most helpful.
I would recommend everyone take the Bus ride to Monaco and Menton -for 1 euro per person each way it was the best value trip we had in all France. Sadly 4 nights were not enough!"

"We loved our stay in this apartment! The location was perfect - right in the heart of the old town and only a few minutes walk to the promenade. The amenities were great, the free internet-phone was a nice bonus too!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ancien Senat. Everything was as expected and spotlessly clean.
The apartment could not be more convenient being a stone's throw from excellent food shops as well as excellent, reasonably priced restaurants. The housekeeper, Magali, was exceptionally frindly and gave us lots of great advice on where to shop and where to eat and she was spot on!
Nice is a great place to stay and this apartment gives a comfortable, convenient base from which to do whatever you like! Don't forget the bargain 1 Euro bus rides and take the airport bus for 4 Euros if you fly to Nice."

"The house is situated in the center of Vieux Nice. Very close to everywhere. Is a big clean and very well equipped house. There is a big screen TV with hundreds of satellite channels, Wi-fi for PC or smart phones, free phone facility and DVD.The house is situated in a very quite place. Owners are wery charm and helpful."

"We really liked our stay in the apartment for 10 days (9 nights). The apartment is in the 'Old Nice' area, 3 minutes walk from the sea and about 5 minutes walk from the central bus station. The apartment is very clean, kitchen appliances are new and the bed is wide enough to comfortably accommodate 2 people. If you keep the windows open during the night you can occasionally hear some noise from the street and the apartment is on the 4th floor with no elevator. We had no problems with that. We communicated with Maddalena, the owner of the apartment through e-mail and she gave us very good suggestions on out itinerary and gave us the info on how to get from the airport to the apartment. Overall, 5+ experience. We would highly recommend the apartment to everyone"

It can sometimes be a bit noisy due to the street cleaning and refuse collection at night but one would expect this in the busy old town and this did not lessen our enjoyment in any way."

FLAT N°3 - SAINT JOSEPH

"I would recommend this apartment to all those who wish to (re)discover the wonderful town of Nice.
The apartment is very well situated in the heart of the old town, everything is within walking distance - the famous market (fresh fruits and vegetables, cheeses, spices, flowers, soaps, etc.) is just 5 minutes walking distance from the flat, la Promenade des Anglais and the beach are at 200 m distance, plenty of restaurants and nice shops around (the best olive oil - Alziari, the best ice-cream - Fenocchio, all sorts of other regional products).
Nice is a town where people go out until very late at night, all the restaurants and cafés and even shops are open very late, so the fact that the apartment is so centrally located is very convenient to be able to take a walk around the old town at night - an unforgettable experience, a beautiful atmosphere.
The apartment itself is neat and spacious, very quiet, nicely decorated, with a very nice view over the roof tops of Old Nice and the Castle Hill.
The owner and her representative are very kind and very flexible regarding arrival and departure times and they made us feel that they care for our nice holiday atmosphere. Thanks "

"Fantastic apartment.
Very comfortable, clean, quiet, well-equipped (internet and telephone free of charge) and tastefully decorated. Has everything you need for an enjoyable holiday.
In the very heart of the Old Town the apartment could not be more central: 2 minutes from beach and 10 minutes from the main train station. The housekeeper was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We will be recommending this to all our friends and if we do return to Nice we will stay again. "

"We spent an excellent week in Nice!
The apartment was very clean, comfortable and cosy. It was well equipped and there was good space for four people. The location was excellent, near the ocean and in the heart of the Old City.
The tram line was just 2 minutes walking distance from the apartment. Even the shops are just around the corner (fresh bread every morning, butcher, fresh fruits and vegetables...). There were also a plenty of good restaurants and cafes in the neighbourhood.
Very peaceful place in the middle of everything. We (2 adults, 1 teenager and 1 baby) were lucky to find this apartment. There is all the necessary baby equipment including a good quality high-chair and a real mattress for a portable baby crib. All the contacts with the Land lady were quick and nice. We loved to stay there and will recommend it anytime. "

"This is a delightful flat, very well placed in Vieux Nice. Before we set off Marco, the owner, was very helpful and contacted us by phone and email to answer any queries. We arrived late on Sunday evening, but Magali was there to show us around and make sure that we had everything we needed - she even carried my case upstairs for me! It was great to chat to a local who knows the old town well and who was able to make lots of good recommendations. The flat was spotlessly clean and very comfortable for our stay - good cooking facilities and an excellent, powerful shower with plentiful hot water. It was dark when we arrived, but in the morning we flung open the shutters and it felt like a scene from "A room with a view" - lovely views over the roof tops to mountains and up to the chateau. Having already lived and worked in Nice, we knew where we wanted to spend our week and this was perfect - very handy for the beach and the delights of the Cours Saleya and the beautiful streets and squares of the old town. It is also only a few minutes' walk from the bus station and tram stop, so a car is not needed for your stay. The flat is airy and peaceful at night - we slept with the windows wide open and could only hear the occasional seagull. We had a couple of wet days during our stay, but the heating worked well, so this was not a problem. All in all this is the perfect place for a week on the Cote d'Azur- we would certainly come again"

We have no doubt, the facilities and location (not to mention the friendly owners) played a key role in our excellent Nice holiday.
